Animals:
Bison-This animal can run 30 miles per hour to escape from prey, and they have horns which can be used for self defense.
interesting fact:Mature bisons can weigh up to 1,000 pounds.
Gray Wolf-They have sharp teeth for puncturing flesh, and they can survive without food for 2 weeks.
interesting fact:ON an average day they will eat up to 20-30 pounds of meat.
Black-tailed Jack Rabbit-Their eyes are stimulated and the side of their heads so the have and all-round vision, and their fur helps them camouflage.

Eagle-They have curved beaks to help tear prey apart, and they have long sharp claws to help them hold onto fish.

Deer-Trey have skinny legs for running fast, and they have fur to keep them warm in the winter.

Burrowing Owl-If an animal comes in their burrow they can make a hissing sound to sound like a snake and scare the predator away, and their feathers help camouflage the owl.

The Mountain mint is the producer which gives energy to the Black-tailed Jack Rabbit and the Deer, the primary consumers. These animals then give nutrients to the secondary consumers. Finally, these animals give nutrients to the Bison, tertiary consumer.
